Legal and privacy
Terms of use
The terms that govern access to The Boudoir Method website, education, community, coaching, critiques, downloads, and commerce.
Policy version 2026-08-09-draft · Published August 9, 2026
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and use only the roles and resources assigned to you. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless promptly reported as unauthorized.
Purchases and access
Prices, billing interval, included resources, enrollment windows, access duration, capacity, cancellation terms, and refund conditions shown in the live catalog and checkout govern a purchase. A request, draft, or provider-pending state is not a completed purchase. Access begins only after the application records a provider-confirmed entitlement.
- Stripe processes payment details and provider-confirmed checkout, subscription, refund, and dispute events.
- Cohort capacity, instructor availability, critique allocations, and coaching times are not guaranteed until confirmed.
- Chargebacks, refunds, expiration, or abuse may suspend or revoke related entitlements as allowed by law and the displayed purchase terms.
Learning and professional context
Education and critique are informational and do not guarantee business, artistic, financial, legal, or health outcomes. You remain responsible for professional judgment, client safety, contracts, releases, insurance, taxes, and compliance in your jurisdiction.
Acceptable use
- Do not share accounts, bypass authorization, scrape protected materials, probe security controls, harass others, upload unlawful content, impersonate another person, or interfere with service operation.
- Do not upload intimate or sensitive imagery without the rights, permissions, releases, and age certainty required by the Content and consent policy.
- Do not redistribute course video, downloads, critiques, private community material, instructor content, or another member's submissions except where a written license explicitly allows it.
Your content and license
You retain rights you hold in content you submit. You grant the limited license necessary to store, process, protect, display to authorized reviewers, and deliver the feature you selected. Broader cohort, academy, future-public, or marketing visibility requires a separate recorded visibility grant and does not arise merely from submission.
Platform and instructor materials
The platform, curriculum, recordings, designs, downloads, trademarks, and instructor materials are owned by their respective rights holders. Purchase gives a personal, limited, non-transferable right to access the included materials for the stated period; it does not transfer ownership.
Community, moderation, and safety
We may restrict, hide, investigate, or remove content and suspend access when reasonably necessary for safety, rights, privacy, or policy enforcement. Moderation and sensitive-access actions are permission-filtered and audited. Reports may be rejected or actioned based on available evidence.
Availability and third parties
Features may depend on Supabase, Stripe, Mux, email, calendar, or meeting providers. We may change or discontinue features, but will not represent a queued or provider-pending action as complete. Links and provider services are governed by their own terms.
Termination
You may stop using the service and may submit an eligible deletion request. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, unlawful conduct, security risk, nonpayment, or provider-confirmed dispute, subject to applicable law and purchase terms. Required consent, financial, audit, and safety records may be retained after termination.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without guarantees of uninterrupted operation or specific outcomes. Any limitation of liability, warranty disclaimer, governing-law clause, dispute process, arbitration provision, or jurisdiction-specific consumer notice must be approved by qualified counsel before this draft becomes final.
Policy relationship
The Privacy policy explains data handling. The Content and consent policy adds mandatory rules for sensitive imagery. Product-specific terms shown at purchase control where they are more specific and do not reduce non-waivable consumer rights.
